In 1995, with a BA in graphic design, a decade of high level design work and a lot of project management and supervisory experience, Jill Kerrigan decided to launch her own graphic design company.

Everything about JAK reflects Jill—her entrepreneurial drive, her creative intensity and her evolving vision of a great place to work and play. She’s a leader who interweaves the resources of the whole team. She insists on every client benefiting from a one-on-one relationship. And when it comes to our work, she makes us all perfectionists.

Professional affiliations

JAK Graphic Design LLC is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise with the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. Some of our staff are also members of professional design organizations such as the NAWBO, NAPP, AIGA and the Society of Typographic Arts.

Our digs

The JAK studio started in Jill's basement and gradually grew out of that space. So Jill and Laura designed our present studio—a complex of bright open spaces with lots of room for creative productivity.
