Finding the best and fewest words is one of Ricky's favorite challenges. She lives and breathes punctuation and grammar.

From her hippie youth, Ricky has granola/Birkenstock/peacemonger tendencies, and never met a fruit or vegetable she didn't love. She went to eleven different schools in the 50's; participated fully in the 60's; had her kids in the 70's; managed sales, marketing and communications for the family business in the 80's; started free-lance copywriting in the 90's and came to JAK in the 00's. She has way too much education, including degrees from Harvard, Kansas University, University of Michigan and University of Chicago.
